Paul did not preach democracy
From Yerranos
In Acts 18:4-6, it says, "And he (Paul) was reasoning in the synagogue every Sabbath and trying to persuade Jews and Greeks. But when Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul began devoting himself completely to the word, solemnly testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ. And when they resisted and blasphemed, he shook out his garments and said to them, "Your blood be upon your own heads! I am clean. From now on I shall go to the Gentiles."
Notice how when the Jews resisted Paul's righteous message to them, Paul being a very, very righteous and godly man, more godly than me and you, did not say to the Jews, "Oh well, you have the right and freedom to your own belief anyway. I cannot force my belief on you." NO! But instead, he in essence said that they would be damn if they did not repent and acknowledge God. If the Jews did blasphemed against God and not Christ, then Paul was rightly telling them that they were on their way to hell. Paul was righteous, and he was not carried off by a misstatement when he said, "Your blood be own your own head".
Paul spent the remainder of his Christian life teaching many people about Christ, righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come (Acts 24:25). God told him to do so. Paul was not forcing his religion on anyone, but simply telling them their responsibility to God and the truth that they need to stop sinning. Nothing Paul taught anyone was his opinion, nor derived from his natural mind, but all preceded from the Almighty wisdom of God who taught Paul the truth by the Holy Spirit. However if Paul was in America today, all these ignorant Americans would be creating uproars against godly Paul saying that he was disturbing the peace and forcing his opinions on everyone. Paul would have been likewise considered, by American heathens, a loathesome person who was seeking to force Christianity on everyone. If Paul preached with you, saying the same things he was saying to the Jews, would you be talking back to him saying, "You can't force your beliefs on me!"? I wouldn't! No true Christian would either. Only heathens who are on their way to hell would.
